  1. INSTALLATION:

  3. To install the Ham Radio 2000 V2 CD-ROM, log onto your CD-ROM 
  4. drive and type "SETUP." You will be prompted for the destination 
  5. for the Ham Radio 2000 V2 program. The setup routine will copy some 
  6. necessary DLLs into the Windows directory and the program files 
  7. into the directory you specify.

  9. To view the documentation, consult the Ham Radio 2000 V2 help file or
  10. HAMV2.WRI.

  12. SHARE
  13.  
  14.  IF YOU ARE PROMPTED TO ADD "SHARE.EXE" TO YOUR AUTOEXEC.BAT 
  15.  
  16. First, try to run the HAM RADIO 2000 VOL. 2 program. If the program runs  
  17. normally, share is not required. If you do not see any files listed, then 
  18. you will need to add the share.exe command. SHARE.EXE should be located
  19. in your DOS directory. To add it to your autoexec.bat file, type the 
  20. following at a DOS prompt:

  22. EDIT c:\autoexec.bat
  23. [ENTER]

  25.      Then add the following line to your autoexec.bat file:

  28. C:\DOS\share.exe /l:500
  29.      
  30.      
  31.     C:\DOS\ is the path where share.exe is located. If share.exe is in 
  32.     a different path then you must substitute the correct path.

  34.     Then save the file and reboot.
